Soccer Recap: Rabun County Beats Elbert County for Their Third Straight Victory

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Rabun County). They were the clear victor by a 4-1 margin over the Elbert County Blue Devils on Thursday. The score was close at the half, but the Wildcats pulled away in the second half with two goals.

The victory was the third in a row for Rabun County, bringing their record for this year to 3-2. As for Elbert County, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rabun County will head out to challenge Providence Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Elbert County, they are taking a road trip to square off against Barrow Arts and Sciences Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Elbert County is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.8 goals per game this season.
