Softball Recap: Gross Catholic Comes Up Short

Gross Catholic lost against Bishop Neumann back in September of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Cougars lost 13-2 to the Cavaliers.

Lauren Kosse made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

Gross Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Bishop Neumann, their record is now 11-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gross Catholic will square off against Wahoo at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. The Cougars are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Bishop Neumann, they will face off against Yutan-Mead at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
