Soccer Recap: Los Lunas Takes a Loss

Los Lunas was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 8-0 to the Rio Grande Ravens. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Rio Grande this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-1 back in September.

Los Lunas' defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Rio Grande, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 13-2-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Los Lunas will face off against rival Albuquerque at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Rio Grande is set to square off against their familiar foe West Mesa at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
