Basketball Recap: Heritage Academy Comes Up Short

Heritage Academy's last matchup with Tempe Prep could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Tuesday. The Heroes were beaten by the Knights 53-23. The defeat continues a trend for the Heroes in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost four in a row.

Heritage Academy's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Tempe Prep, their win was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-10.

While Heritage Academy had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
