Burton has gone 5-0 against Marshall recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. Burton's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 3-9. As for Marshall, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

Burton didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Marshall in their previous matchup back in January of 2024, but they still walked away with a 29-24 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Burton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
