Baseball Recap: San Ysidro Comes Up Short

San Ysidro was the 5-3 winner over Eastlake when they last played one another on Wednesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Cougars fell just short of the Titans by a score of 3-2 on Friday.

Armann Robles was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-3 with one home run, one stolen base, and two RBI.

San Ysidro's loss dropped their record down to 13-8. As for Eastlake, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-7-1 record this season.

San Ysidro will face off against Bonita Vista at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Eastlake, they will take on Montgomery at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Titans are facing the Aztecs at the right time seeing as the Aztecs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
