Volleyball Game Preview: South County Vipers vs. Routt Catholic Rockets

The South County Vipers will face off against the Routt Catholic Rockets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Routt Catholic took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on South County, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, South County beat West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] 2-0. The Vipers haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: South County took both sets by at least ten points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-15.

Meanwhile, Routt Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 2-0 to Lincoln.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15.

The win got South County back to even at 12-12. As for Routt Catholic, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-16.
