Softball Recap: Brooks County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Brooks County's offense. They lost 11-0 to the Lanier County Bulldogs on Tuesday. The Trojans' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Brooks County's defeat dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Lanier County, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Coming up, Brooks County will head out on the road to square off against Brookwood at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Lanier County, they will head out to face off against Westfield School at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Hornets' pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so the Bulldogs' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
