Football Recap: Boiling Springs Takes a Loss

Boiling Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They had to suffer through a 36-3 loss at the hands of the Trinity Shamrocks. While losing is never fun, the Bubblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania football rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Shamrocks are ranked 171st).

Boiling Springs' loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Trinity, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Coming up, Boiling Springs will face off against Milton Hershey at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bubblers will be up against the Spartans' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.71 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Trinity, they will challenge West Perry at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
