Basketball Game Preview: Clairemont Chieftains vs. Pacific Ridge Firebirds

Having just played yesterday, the Clairemont Chieftains will head out on the road to face off against the Pacific Ridge Firebirds at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both have had a bumpy ride up to this point with ten consecutive losses for Clairemont and five for Pacific Ridge.

On Tuesday, Clairemont took a blow against Kearny, falling 41-12.

Meanwhile, Pacific Ridge played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Escondido Charter and fell 61-22. While losing is never fun, the Firebirds can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 1136th, while the Tigers are ranked 367th).

Pacific Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Clairemont, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-15.
