Soccer Recap: Central Gets the Win

After losing to Calexico the last time they met, Central decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Central Spartans narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Calexico Bulldogs 3-2.

Central hit Calexico with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Isabella Pacheco, Valentina Pacheco, and Azul Amador.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 7-4-2. As for Calexico, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 15-5-1.

Central didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-1 win against Imperial on the 28th. As for Calexico, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Brawley on the 28th.
