Soccer Recap: Jones County Comes Up Short

Jones County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 4-1 to the Ola Mustangs. That's two games in a row now that Jones County have lost by exactly three goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Brian Sorrell, who's now up to two this season.

Jones County's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Ola, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-6.

Jones County will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Upson-Lee at 7:30 p.m. on the 15th. As for Ola, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Walnut Grove on the 3rd.
