Softball Game Preview: Perry Panthers vs. Taylor County Vikings + Official Tickets

The Perry Panthers will square off against the Taylor County Vikings at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Perry has struggled recently with three losses in a row, while Taylor County will arrive with 17 straight victories.

On Tuesday, Perry came up short against Lowndes and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Taylor County got themselves on the board against Schley County on Tuesday, but Schley County never followed suit. They blew past the Wildcats 9-0. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

Perry's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Taylor County, their win bumped their record up to 21-2.

Perry took their victory against Taylor County in their previous meeting back in August by a conclusive 9-1 score. Will the Panthers repeat their success, or do the Vikings have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
