Softball Game Preview: Rockford Warriors vs. Riceville Wildcats

The Rockford Warriors will face off against the Riceville Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.

Rockford came up short against Clarksville on Friday, falling 8-1. The Warriors haven't had much luck with the Indians recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, Riceville never let their opponents score on Saturday. They blew past Maquoketa 8-0. Considering the Wildcats have won 11 matchups by more than seven runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Rockford's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Riceville, they moved to 17-8 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.
