Woodward Academy put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They came within a single goal of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Tri-Cities Bulldogs. That's more bragging rights for the War Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Woodward Academy's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Woodward Academy will challenge Whitewater at 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Whitewater's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Tri-Cities, they will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against Jackson at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
