Softball Recap: Eight Straight Home Victories for Cartersville

There's no place like home for Cartersville, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They won by a run and slipped past the North Cobb Christian Eagles 4-3.

Presley Crabbe tossed a big game, striking out seven batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk).

On the hitting side, Cartersville saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emilee Brinson, who went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Taryn Bradley also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
