Soccer Game Preview: Livermore vs. Dublin

Livermore and Dublin are an even 4-4-2 against one another since February of 2018, but likely not for long. The Livermore Cowboys will look to defend their home pitch on Thursday against the Dublin Gaels at 6:30 p.m. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Livermore is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against Granada back in December of 2024. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dublin, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand College Park a 1-0 shutout on Tuesday.

Dublin's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 4-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those four contests. Livermore's draw gives them a new season record of 2-3-1.
