ROWVA/Williamsfield dropped down to 21-12 on Saturday, ending the team's seven-game streak of wins. They lost 13-0 to the Brimfield Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Cougars have suffered since May 9th.

As for Brimfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 28-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games.

For Brimfield's part, Sean Crowe was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
