Softball Recap: Telfair County's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

If Telfair County was feeling good fresh off their 11-0 takedown of Dublin on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Trojans came up short against the Clinch County Panthers on Thursday, falling 14-3. The loss put an end to the Trojans' undefeated start to the season.

Trinity Deeds made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Having lost for the first time this season, Telfair County fell to 2-1.

Telfair County and Clinch County will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to face off against their familiar foe Montgomery County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Clinch County will square off against rival Echols County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
