Basketball Game Preview: Orestimba Warriors vs. Ripon Indians

The Orestimba Warriors will venture away from home to square off against the Ripon Indians at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Orestimba is headed into the contest having just posted their closest victory since December 3, 2024 on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 37-35 win over Sonora.

Olivia Gray went supernova for Orestimba, dropping a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. That's the most rebounds Gray has posted since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ashlynn Bell, who posted nine points and eight rebounds.

Meanwhile, Ripon posted their biggest victory since December 16, 2023 on Thursday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat River Islands 48-16. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Orestimba's record is now 9-6. As for Ripon, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-9 record this season.

Orestimba couldn't quite finish off Ripon when the teams last played back in December of 2024 and fell 41-39. Can Orestimba avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
