Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Calvary Day

Calvary Day won the last time they faced Southeast Bulloch and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Calvary Day Cavaliers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Southeast Bulloch Yellow Jackets 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Cavaliers have posted since February 14th.

Ryan Wallace spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March of 2024.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sam Renshaw, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

The victory (which was Calvary Day's third in a row) raised their record to 8-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Southeast Bulloch, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.
