Northwest Webster waltzed into their game on Monday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the East Sac County Raiders. Surprisingly, this marked the Cougars' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Northwest Webster pushed their record up to 8-9 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for East Sac County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 11 of their last 14 matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-14 record this season.
