Basketball Game Preview: Fontana Steelers vs. Eisenhower Eagles

The Fontana Steelers are taking a road trip to challenge the Eisenhower Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Fontana will head into Friday's match out to bounce back: they won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They were dealt a 58-18 defeat at the hands of Summit. While losing is never fun, the Steelers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 435th, while the SkyHawks are ranked 115th).

Meanwhile, Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 77-29 loss at the hands of Rialto.

Fontana's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for Eisenhower, their loss dropped their record down to 2-15.

Everything came up roses for Fontana against Eisenhower in their previous meeting on January 7th, as the squad secured a 65-30 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Fontana since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
