Basketball Recap: Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley Skates Past Tidioute Charter with Ease

Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley's tournament run continued when they took on Tidioute Charter on Saturday. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley breezed past Tidioute Charter to the tune of 63-17.

Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley was led to victory by Raelynn Fletcher and Maddy Dehart. Fletcher went 11-for-18 on her way to 26 points along with eight rebounds and eight steals, while Dehart dropped a double-double with 23 points and 20 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Raschiatore, who posted eight points in addition to six steals and five assists.

The win got Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley back to even at 1-1. As for Tidioute Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against Clarion-Limestone at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be Union/Allegheny-Clarion Valley's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Tidioute Charter, they will take on East Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
