Volleyball Recap: South County Takes a Loss

South County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Fairfax Lions. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lions this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

South County's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Fairfax, they have been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. South County is set to face off against their familiar foe West Potomac at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Fairfax will challenge rival West Springfield at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
