Softball Recap: Pleasant Valley Continues Road Dominance on Tuesday

Pleasant Valley came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 13 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the West Liberty Comets by a score of 8-4. The Spartans have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Comets, too.

Pleasant Valley pushed their record up to 26-9 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for West Liberty, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 19-7.

Pleasant Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for West Liberty, they will head out on the road to challenge South Tama County on Thursday.
