Soccer Game Preview: Northgate vs. Alhambra

The Northgate Broncos will head out to take on the Alhambra Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Northgate is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 4.2 goals per game this season.

Northgate is probably headed into the contest with a chip on their shoulder considering Acalanes just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Friday. They and the Dons finished up their matchup with a 2-2 draw. The result (or lack thereof) was the first time the Broncos have been dealt a draw since back in December of 2024.

Sadie Hansell and Sarah Burkes scored both of Northgate's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Alhambra lost 5-1 to Miramonte on Tuesday. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Matadors recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Northgate's draw makes their record 5-1-2 this season. As for Alhambra, they now have a losing record at 4-5-1.
