Soccer Game Preview: Argonaut vs. Liberty Ranch

The Argonaut Mustangs are taking a road trip to challenge the Liberty Ranch Hawks at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Argonaut comes in on four and Liberty Ranch on six.

Argonaut proved they can win big on Wednesday (they won by three) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Union Mine 2-1. Amy Hauser had the honor of scoring the game-winner for Argonaut.

Meanwhile, Liberty Ranch kept a clean sheet against Amador on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Buffaloes. Liberty Ranch might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matches by three goals or more this season.

Argonaut's record now sits at 13-4. As for Liberty Ranch, their record is now 16-2-1.

Argonaut might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Liberty Ranch in their previous meeting back in December of 2025. Can the Mustangs avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
