It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but George Washington had no problem doing just that on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Prep Charter Huskies. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won seven games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win (which was George Washington's third in a row) raised their record to 8-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.7 runs over those games. As for Prep Charter, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-3.

Coming up, George Washington is taking a road trip to take on South Philadelphia at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. Prep Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
