Football Recap: T.C. Roberson's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Five

T.C. Roberson extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Karod Harris. The Rams blew past the Erwin Warriors 42-22 on Friday thanks in part to Harris, who rushed for 89 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only 11 carries, and also threw for 231 yards and three TDs on only 19 passes. His passing game has become a key predictor of T.C. Roberson's success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 2-3 otherwise.

T.C. Roberson didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Lawson Banks and Chanten Wynn. Wynn got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

T.C. Roberson's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Erwin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-7.
