Football Recap: Royalton Takes a Loss

Royalton had taken Paynesville down for three straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Friday. The Royals were outmatched by the Bulldogs and fell 36-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Royals have suffered against the Bulldogs since October 23, 2020.

Royalton now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Paynesville, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Royalton will take on Minnewaska Area at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Paynesville, they will face off against Eden Valley-Watkins at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Bulldogs surely won't give up without a fight.
