Soccer Recap: Scotts Valley Comes Up Short

Scotts Valley fell victim to Soquel and their airtight defense on Tuesday. They fell just short of the Soquel Knights by a score of 1-0.

Scotts Valley now has a losing record at 5-6-3. As for Soquel, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3-1 record this season.

Scotts Valley will head out to challenge Aptos at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Aptos knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past eight games -- so hopefully Scotts Valley likes a good challenge. Soquel has already played their next match (against San Lorenzo Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
