Football Recap: Banks Academy Comes Up Short

The Banks Academy Jets took a blow against the South Choctaw Academy Rebels on Friday, falling 56-24.

Banks Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for South Choctaw Academy, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

Banks Academy and South Choctaw Academy will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Jets are set to square off against their familiar foe Bessemer Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, South Choctaw Academy will face off against rival Sparta Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
