Softball Recap: Toombs County Has No Trouble Against Calvary Day

Toombs County got themselves on the board against Calvary Day on Thursday, but Calvary Day never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over the Cavaliers. The Bulldogs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cavaliers, too.

Toombs County now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Toombs County will square off against West Laurens at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Calvary Day, they will challenge Southeast Bulloch at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Yellow Jackets' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Cavaliers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
