Softball Recap: Chapel Hill Takes a Loss

Chapel Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Johnson Knights, falling 9-2.

Chapel Hill saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nyla Henson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Chapel Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chapel Hill will venture away from home to challenge Paulding County at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season. As for Johnson, they will face off against David Emanuel Academy at 4:10 p.m. on Saturday.
