On Friday, Anna blew past Emerson, posting a 56-14 win. The Coyotes pushed the score to 56-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Mavericks cut but never quite recovered from.

Anna got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Ziondre Williams out in front who threw for 339 yards and four touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes, and also rushed for 38 yards and one TD. Anna better focus on containing Cameron Newton and Hayes Hackney as the pair were huge in Walnut Grove's win. Newton gained 149 total yards and three touchdowns, while Hackney threw for 219 yards and five touchdowns while completing 84.6% of his passes. Newton is also on a roll when it comes to rushing touchdowns, as he's now punched in two or more in each of the last seven games he's played dating back to last season. Cam King was another key player, rushing for 47 yards and a pair of TDs.
Anna's record is now 5-1. As for Walnut Grove, their record now sits at 6-0.
