Waseca had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Maple River on Saturday. The Bluejays were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the Eagles. The Bluejays not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 21st (when they won 12-2).

Waseca's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-12. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Maple River, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-17.
