Recap: Johnson Warriors vs. Highlands Scots
The Johnson Warriors entered their tilt with the Highlands Scots with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Johnson was the clear victor by a 47-27 margin over Highlands. That's another feather in the cap for Johnson, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Iris Vang continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 20 points along with five assists. The match was her third in a row with at least ten points. Timoa Pa'aga was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Johnson pushed their record up to 6-4 with that win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Highlands, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Johnson will head out on the road to face off against Leroy Greene Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Leroy Greene Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last three games, a trend the team is of course eager to reverse.
