Softball Recap: Conifer Takes a Loss

Conifer had lost seven straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 2-9 to make it eight. They came up short against the D'Evelyn Jaguars, falling 15-0. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Conifer saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Hailey Bergman, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

As for D'Evelyn, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-3 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 11.8 runs.

On D'Evelyn's side, the team relied heavily on Myla Seda, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs Seda has posted since back in September of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Macie Allen, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two RBI, and one double.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: D'Evelyn beat Conifer by a score of 11-1 later that day.
