Soccer Recap: Bishop Montgomery Falls Short of Redlands East Valley in the Playoffs

Bishop Montgomery and Redlands East Valley squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Bishop Montgomery had to settle for second. While the 1-1 score might suggest a draw, it was the Redlands East Valley Wildcats who were credited with the win. The Redlands East Valley Wildcats got it done in the shootout by posting three goals to the Bishop Montgomery Knights' two. Having soared to a lofty four goals in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Kailyn Magpoc, who's now up to six this season.

Bishop Montgomery's defeat dropped their record down to 12-7. As for Redlands East Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 11-10 record this season.
