Softball Recap: Midtown Takes a Loss + How To Watch

After soaring to 18 runs the game before, Midtown was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They lost 9-1 to Pace Academy. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Pace Academy this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-0 back in September.

Midtown now has a losing record of 9-10. As for Pace Academy, their record now sits at 10-7.

Midtown and Pace Academy could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Georgia Rankings. The Knights (ranked 296th) will meet Decatur (ranked 89th) at 5:55 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Pace Academy will square off against Pope at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a big rank disadvantage (232 vs. 54).
