Softball Recap: Roland Takes a Loss

If Roland was riding high fresh off their 8-0 takedown of Stilwell on Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rangers took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sequoyah Eagles on Thursday. The Rangers were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Eagles earlier this season, when they won 5-2.

Roland now has a losing record of 13-14. As for Sequoyah, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 15-18.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Roland beat the Eagles by a score of 5-2 later that day.
