McIntosh and Whitewater are an even 5-5 against one another since September of 2020, but likely not for long. The Chiefs will host the Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

The home team had come away the winner the last five times McIntosh and Northgate had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Chiefs came up short against the Vikings on Tuesday, falling 12-2.

McIntosh saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Reese Adams, who went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. Those stolen bases marked the first that Adams has snagged this season.

Meanwhile, Whitewater was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Pike County.

McIntosh's defeat dropped their record down to 14-13. As for Whitewater, their loss dropped their record down to 14-11.
