Recap: Downtown Magnets Suns vs. Central City Value Jaguars
This season hasn't been kind to the Downtown Magnets Suns, who are still winless after their 12th game. They suffered a rough 46-22 loss at the hands of Central City Value on Tuesday. Downtown Magnets was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 26-6.
Central City Value had a senior duo take command as Elise Logan dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten rebounds and Amy Lazaro scored 12 points along with five assists and four steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Logan has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Kimberly Jacinto, who scored four points along with eight rebounds.
Downtown Magnets' defeat was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-12. As for Central City Value, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.
Downtown Magnets will head out on the road to challenge Orthopaedic at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Central City Value, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Annenberg at 2:00 p.m.
