Baseball Game Preview: Central Fellowship Christian Academy Lancers vs. Brentwood War Eagles

For the second straight game, Central Fellowship Christian Academy will face off against Brentwood. The Lancers are taking a road trip to square off against the War Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Central Fellowship Christian Academy hasn't scored more than two runs for four games straight, a trend the team is eager to reverse.

Central Fellowship Christian Academy managed to slip by Brentwood the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lancers came up short against the War Eagles on Tuesday, falling 19-1.

For Brentwood's part, Riley Helton was a standout: he fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. What's more, Helton posted two runs, the most he's had since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Diaz, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, six RBI, and two runs.

Brentwood moved to 7-11 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak. As for Central Fellowship Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 1-15.
