Softball Recap: Gretna East Gets the Win

Gretna East never let their opponents score on Thursday. They didn't even let the Lincoln Northwest Falcons on the board, marking the Griffins' second-straight 7-0 shutout. The Griffins haven't had any issues with the Falcons recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Emerson Husen was excellent, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Amanda Weis, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Gretna East was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .385. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
