Basketball Recap: Shenango Takes a Loss

Shenango was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Mohawk Area Warriors. The Wildcats were not able to make up for their loss to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in January.

Shenango's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Mohawk Area, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Shenango will venture away from home to take on Northgate at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Mohawk Area and New Brighton will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
