Soccer Game Preview: Rio Lindo Adventist vs. Trinity Prep

The Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans will face off against the Trinity Prep Crusaders at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Rio Lindo Adventist's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for four straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Rio Lindo Adventist fell victim to Jewish Community and their airtight defense on Wednesday. They lost 4-0 to Wolves. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Rio Lindo Adventist haven't been shut out since back in March.

Meanwhile, Trinity Prep kept a clean sheet against Quarry Lane on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 5-0 victory. Considering Trinity Prep have won five matchups by more than four goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Quarry Lane with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caroline Heil (3), Evelyn Falsini, and Lilanny Reyes-Mendoza.

Rio Lindo Adventist's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Trinity Prep, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
