Softball Recap: Monday's Win Is Fox's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Ten must be Fox's lucky number: they beat Valley Park with that score not once but twice on Monday. The Warriors beat the Hawks by the very same score they won with in their prior game: 10-1. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by seven runs or more this season.

Fox has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Valley Park, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-6.

Looking ahead, Fox will head out on the road to square off against Mehlville at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Valley Park, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Bayless at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Hawks are facing the Bronchos at the right time seeing as the Bronchos are stuck on a five-game losing streak.
