Football Game Preview: Hope Blue Wave vs. Narragansett Mariners + How To Watch

The Hope Blue Wave will head out on the road to take on the Narragansett Mariners at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hope hasn't scored more than six points for five games straight, a trend the squad is eager to reverse.

On Saturday, Hope was just a hair shy of victory and fell 7-6 to Scituate.

Meanwhile, Narragansett won a contest that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by Smithfield 13-12. The win continues a trend for the Mariners in their matchups with the Sentinels: they've now won four in a row.

Narragansett's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Hope, their loss dropped their record down to 2-7.

Hope took a serious blow against Narragansett when the teams last played back in March of 2021, falling 51-0. Can the Blue Wave avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
